Mikel snubs Valencia for Tainjin TEDA; Pens emotional open letter to fans


Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has snubbed his move to Valencia, opting to join the Chinese Super League side Tainjin TEDA.
Confirming this on Friday, the Nigerian international penned down an emotion-filled open letter to Chelsea fans around the world.

Sources say the Mikel Obi will earn close to £140,000 ponds a week in his 3 year contract.

John Mikel Obi ten year reign at Chelsea FC was marked with success as he won trophies at different levels of competition.
He won eleven trophies among them were:
2 Premier League titles
4 FA cup
2 League cup
1 Europa League title
1 UEFA champions league title.

The 29 year old joins Tainjin TEDA who finished 11th on the league table, on a free transfer as his contract at Stamford Bridge was due to end this summer.
