We are receiving reports now claiming Serie A champions, Juventus, are interested in signing Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi this January. Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport are all reporting that the Turin club are interested in the Belgium international.
It is true that the Bianconeri are in need of midfield reinforcements, after they failed to land Axel Witsel nor Blaise Matuidi during the summer.
Steven N’Zonzi will move to Turin either in January or the next summer, as Matuidi looks set to sign an extension with Paris Saint-Germain.
It’s believed he has a €30m release clause, which the Old Lady could pay in two instalments of €15m.
However, a drawback would be the fact that the 27-year-old might not be able to play [for Juve] in the Champions League this season, having been ever-present for Sevilla in the competition so far.
